What is Ranked Choice Voting?

Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) is simply a different method for tallying votes in a democratic election. RCV uses multiple rounds of tallying to weed out candidates without broad support, resulting in an elected candidate that is closest to what the majority of voters want.
